Abstract:
In the present invention, a pivot pin (22) is pivotally fitted to a bearing part (21) of a slide bracket (7) that supports an actuator housing (3). A first engagement part (27) on the bearing part (21) side and a second engagement part (28) on the pivot pin 22 side form complementary recessed/projecting shapes and engage with one another. A gap (29) is provided on the engagement surface of the first engagement part (27) and the second engagement part (28) so as to allow relative rotation by a specified angle. As a result, a pedal actuator (1) pivots as the position of a pedal (11) changes, and an end of a rack shaft (2) follows the pedal (11). A clamp for fixing the end of the rack shaft (2) to the pedal (11) is no longer necessary.
