This pedal device comprises: a support body (10, 20); a pedal (40) that is swingable with respect to the support body, and pressed and operated by a driver (81) from a predetermined operating side; and a reaction force generation mechanism (60). The reaction force generation mechanism is supported by the support body, disposed on a non-operating side of the pedal, and generates reaction force against tread force applied to the pedal by the driver. The reaction force generation mechanism has one or more elastic members (65, 66, 71) that are elastically deformable in one direction (Dsa), a first holder (67), and a second holder (68). The first holder abuts the one or more elastic members from one side that is a pedal side in the one direction. The second holder abuts the one or more elastic members from another side in the one direction, and receives the tread force. One of the first holder and the second holder has an outer guide part (69) in a cylindrical shape, and the other holder has an inner guide part (70) fitted into the outer guide part so as to be relatively movable.
