Abstract:
The disclosed pedal force detecting device, mounted on a device provided with a rotary shaft which is rotated by application of force and with a bearing rotatably supporting the rotary shaft, detects said force. Said pedal force detecting device is provided with a stress transmitting member fixed to the bearing, a support member, and a strain detection member. The stress transmitting member has a deforming portion which deforms when a force is transmitted in a direction moving away from the bearing, and a contact portion. The support member has a protruding part which contacts the contact portion of the stress transmitting member. The strain detection member detects the stress applied to the deforming portion of the stress transmitting member.
