A pedal structure, comprising a fixed base (10), provided with an accommodating cavity (11), and provided with at least one baffle (13); a pedal (20), slidably connected to the fixed base (10), being able to be accommodated in the accommodating cavity (11), and having an opening (25); the baffle (13) being configured to at least partially cover the opening (25) when the pedal (20) is completely accommodated in the accommodating cavity (11); a driving mechanism (30), mounted on the pedal (20), having one end connected to the fixed base (10), and configured to drive the pedal (20) to extend and retract relative to the accommodating cavity (11) of the fixed base (10); and an accelerator mechanism (50), mounted on the pedal (20), a pressure-bearing member (56) being connected to the accelerator mechanism (50), and a portion of the accelerator mechanism (50) and the pressure-bearing element (56) both having the movement tendency of extending out of the opening (25). The pedal structure solves the technical problems in the prior art that the use safety of pedals is low and the operation is inconvenient when a fault occurs. The pedal structure further comprises a clutch mechanism (40). A sweeping robot has the pedal structure and a cleaning structure.
