Abstract:
In the present invention, a pedestrian safety system is provided with the following: a power transmitting unit (21) that is provided to a vehicle (3) and transmits power; a power receiving unit (13) that is provided to a wearable article (5) which a pedestrian can wear, and that receives the power transmitted from the power transmitting unit; a power storage unit (14) that is provided to the wearable article and that stores the power received by the power receiving unit; and a light emitting unit (10) that is provided to the wearable article and that flashes or lights steadily using, as operating power, the power stored by the power storing unit. According to such a pedestrian safety system, it is not necessary to provide the pedestrian with the supply source of the operating power for the light emitting unit, and the safety of the pedestrian can be adequately ensured.
