Title:
PEDOMETER FOR SHOE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/115241
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a pedometer for shoe which generates electricity by a walking or running action without a power source, can be attached to any shoe without applying any processing to a ready-made shoe by providing an electrogenic unit and a pressure detection unit in a small space in the shoe, and measures the number of walking steps or the number of running steps by detecting the generated electricity and the pressure. The electrogenic unit and the pressure detection unit are provided in a flat shape within a small space in a shoe, so that the electrogenic unit generates electricity and the pressure detection unit detects a pressure change when a pressure caused by the foot striking the ground is applied by a walking or running action; a wire is provided to feed the electricity generated by the pressure caused by the foot striking the ground and the signal indicating pressure change, to the outside of the shoe, and the wire is connected to a walking step number measurement unit on the outside of the shoe to perform measuring. The wire can be fixed and attached to a desired opening part or portion of the shoe by a fixing tool or a fixing wire.
