Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] To provide a peer-to-peer communication device capable of eliminating the use of other device and an external network, reducing the load to a network, reducing the time required until resumption, and resuming communication with high security. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In one communication device, when its IP address modification is detected, a connection request is transmitted to a partner so that the partner transmits its new IP address and its unique identifier. On the other hand, in the other communication device, modification of the IP address of the communication partner is detected and the connection request from the partner is received. Accordingly, the IP address of a new partner and the unique identifier of the partner are received and temporarily stored. The unique identifier of the partner which had been stored is compared to the unique identifier of the partner received this time. When the unique identifiers of the partner coincide as a result of the comparison, the control means updates the IP address of the partner in the partner information storage means and outputs a connection permission report to the partner in response to the connection request. As a result, the communication device of the side in which the IP address has beenmodified receives the connection permission report from the partner. The control means of the communication devices establish a connection with the partners via the respective communication means.
