Abstract:
A pelvis holder capable of preventing the arcuate pubis and the pelvis of a seat occupant from being deformed by properly holding the arcuate pubis of the seat occupant and a method of manufacturing the pelvis holder. A projected part (2) is formed at the position of the pelvis holder corresponding to the arcuate pubis of the seat occupant, and rise parts (3) raised to surround the outer surface of the ischium of the seat occupant are formed on both sides of the projected part (2). The projected part (2) is formed by pressing in a heated thermoplastic resin-made holder original plate (1) according to the arcuate pubis of the seat occupant, and the rise parts (3) are formed by raising the holder original plate (1) according to the outer surface of the ischium of the seat occupant.
