Abstract:
This pen cartridge is detachably attached to a plotter while retaining a pen, the pen cartridge stably retaining the pen. The pen cartridge 21 is provided with: a housing 22 having a cylindrical hollow part 22a in which a pen is inserted in a penetrating state; an operation member 26 provided in such a way as to be capable of being rotated between a first position and a second position, with the insertion direction of the pen relative to the housing 22 as a central axis; and a gripping member 23 provided in the housing 22 and having a plurality of gripping parts 37, 38 for gripping an outer periphery of the pen, inserted into the housing 22, at a plurality of places in an axial direction in which the central axis extends, the gripping member 23 causing the plurality of gripping parts 37, 38 to transition from a released state in which the pen is not gripped to a gripped state in which the pen is gripped, when the operation member 26 is rotated from the first position to the second position.
