Abstract:
The present invention provides a peptide comprising a structure in which a stapling structure is substituted for a portion of the dominant negative peptide of BIG3 that inhibits the interaction between BIG3 and PHB2. The peptide according to the present invention has an excellent cell proliferation inhibitory action. In addition, this cell proliferation inhibitory action lasts for a longer period of time than with a peptide lacking a stapling structure. Due to this, the peptide according to the present invention is characteristically suitable for clinical applications in cancer treatment.
