Title:
PEPTIDE HAVING ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY AGAINST PATHOGENS AND ANTIMICROBIAL PEPTIDE COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/188498
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An antimicrobial peptide and an antimicrobial peptide composition containing the same, of the present invention, have remarkably higher antimicrobial activity against gram (+) and gram (-) strains than wild type LPcin-I, which has antimicrobial activity and consists of a sequence of 23 amino acids and, further, have fewer amino acids than wild type LPcin-I, thereby being easily synthesized and highly advantageous in reducing production costs.
