Abstract:
The present invention provides a peptide having skin whitening activity. The present invention exhibits an excellent skin whitening effect by inhibiting melanin generation, inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, inhibiting the expression of factors associated with melanin formation, and inhibiting the melanosome movement. The peptide of the present invention is small, and thus has very excellent skin permeability. The excellent activity and stability of the peptide of the present invention can be very advantageously applied to cosmetics.
