Abstract:
Disclosed are: a peptide comprising the same or substantially the same amino acid sequence as the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO: 1, or a salt thereof; an antibacterial agent comprising the peptide or a salt thereof; and a method for screening a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for immune diseases, urinary diseases, digestive diseases or respiratory diseases, which is characterized by using the peptide or a salt thereof and (b) a protein comprising the same or substantially the same amino acid sequence as the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO: 3 or a salt thereof. The antibacterial agent, the prophylactic or therapeutic agent for immune diseases, urinary diseases, digestive diseases or respiratory diseases and the like are excellent.
