Title:
PER- AND POLY-FLUOROALKYL COMPOUND TRAPPING SAMPLER FOR PERSONAL EXPOSURE MEASUREMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/162076
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compound sampler for personal exposure measurement, said sampler being capable of efficiently trapping, in a releasable manner, per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compounds that are present in the atmosphere in a working environment and the like, while being portable and easily-handleable. A portable per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compound sampler for personal exposure amount measurement, said sampler being provided with an activated carbon filter part which uses, as a main adsorbent, activated carbon that adsorbs per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compounds in a releasable manner. This portable per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compound sampler for personal exposure amount measurement is characterized in that: the activated carbon has a BET specific surface area of 900 m2/g or more; and the activated carbon filter part has a pressure loss of less than 6 kPa at the wind speed of 0.5 m/sec.
