Abstract:
This perfluoropolyether phosphate ester is represented by the general formula [C3F7O{CF(CF3)CF2O}nCF(CF3)CH2O]2PO(OH) (where n is an integer of 1-20). This compound is produced by reacting a perfluoropolyether alcohol represented by the general formula C3F7O{CF(CF3)CF2O}nCF(CF3)CH2OH with phosphorus oxychloride, and hydrolyzing the resulting compound represented by the general formula [C3F7O{CF(CF3)CF2O}nCF(CF3)CH2O]2POCl. This perfluoropolyether phosphate ester or a salt thereof forms a surface treatment agent containing the same as an active ingredient.
