Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a performance evaluation method for a spectacle lens and a program, the performance evaluation method being capable of, regarding spectacle lenses including a progressive power lens, appropriately evaluating quantitative performance related to distortion and/or shake. [Solution] In a performance evaluation method for a spectacle lens according to the present invention, with respect to the design of a spectacle lens GL (step S1), the change rate of a first component that is a component in a first direction of a prism refractive index, and the change rate of a second component that is a component in a second direction of the prism refractive index are calculated by a computer (performance evaluation device 1), thereby calculating a distortion evaluation value that is a value for evaluating distortion related to the spectacle lens GL and/or a shake evaluation value that is a value for evaluating shake related to the spectacle lens (step S2).
