The present disclosure provides a performance optimization method and apparatus for a MIMO system, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring system parameters of a MIMO system, the MIMO system comprising a base station and at least one terminal; determining a target parameter set of each terminal on the basis of the system parameters and a communication parameter of each terminal; receiving performance measurement information sent by each terminal after processing a target signal; determining the CSI uncertainty of each terminal on the basis of the target parameter set and the performance measurement information of each terminal; and obtaining the sum rate of the MIMO system on the basis of the target parameter set and the CSI uncertainty of each terminal. The performance optimization method and apparatus for a MIMO system, and the device and the storage medium provided by the present disclosure are used for improving the sum rate performance of a MIMO system.
