10. Tablet according to claims 1 or 2, characterised by the fact that it fulfils its effect by means of irregular microeffervescence, formed at any one time by the drops of water on the same tablet and/or by the moisture on the bottom of the container, which causes the tablet last very long, i. e. about one month.
11. Tablet according to claims 1 or 2, characterised by the fact that it can be used in a more conventional way, by effervescence, even dissolved in water, especially as disinfectant for rooms, in place of traditional detergents, so that the liquid solution obtained is used to clean surfaces, tiles or other objects, thus reducing considerably the environmental impact, since it doesn't need large plastic containers or similar.
Description:
"PERFUMED DISINFECTING TABLET" DESCRIPTION Technical Field The present invention relates to the technical sector of chemistry and particularly the sector relative to the production of tablets for disinfecting purposes.

Background art In order to disinfect personal objects, in particular toothbrushes, liquid solutions are known at present, into which said objects are dipped. They normally consist of liquid substances diluted with water in order to form the desired solution, but the duration of their disinfecting effect is short.

There exist also powders or tablets that are dissolved in water, forming an aqueous solution into which the instrument is dipped and left for a while in order to be sterilized.

Said solutions have the drawback of barely lasting, since the liquid mixture must be used immediately and will soon lose its disinfecting effect, therefore the operation must be repeated every time, mixing the liquid, the powder or the tablet with water in order to form the solution that must be immediately used and then thrown away.

Another drawback of said systems is that they are not convenient to use, above all when travelling, because their user needs to have at his/her disposal at least a glass, or other container, and clean water that must be mixed with the

substance in order to obtain the disinfecting solution. It's obvious that this kind of procedure, anyway uncomfortable, is not convenient at all when the user is not at home.

Nevertheless, the hygiene of certain personal objects, in particular of toothbrushes, is very important in order to prevent infection and disease.

Other disinfecting solutions are also known, used at home for cleaning surfaces such as floors, tiles, sinks and the like, or objects of everyday use. Said solutions mainly consist of liquid detergents that are mixed with water in order to obtain a solution that can be used to disinfect the house or other places. Nonetheless said systems have relevant drawbacks that are not limited to their uncomfortable use due to the bulk of detergents; they have a serious impact on the environment, as the substances contained in the plastic bottles are rapidly used and the empties are thrown away, so increasing the large amount of rubbish to be recycled or destroyed.

This invention principally aims at eliminating the above- mentioned drawbacks, supplying a disinfecting tablet capable of sterilizing objects or rooms by means of the sublimation of its vapours as well as by means of the solution obtained when it dissolves in water.

Disclosure of invention We reached this result, according to the invention, providing the technical solution having the characteristics described in

the separate claims. Other characteristics of this invention are the object of dependent claims.

The advantages resulting from the present invention essentially consist of the fact that it's possible to disinfect objects, in particular toothbrushes, with no need to resort to an aqueous solution, simply by means of the sublimation of the tablet vapours; that the tablet, laid on the base of a hollow container, can be used to disinfect any kind of object placed inside the same container, particularly toilet brushes and brushes in general, combs, razors and objects of various kind; that the tablet provides a disinfecting and scenting effect even if it is dissolved in water, so that it can be used for cleaning houses or other objects in place of traditional detergents; that it has a lower environmental impact, as it doesn't need large containers; that it's convenient to use in every circumstance; that it's easy to carry; that it has a moderate cost of production.

Reduced to its essential structure, a tablet according to this invention is characterised by the fact that it gives off its disinfecting effect by means of the sublimation of its vapours as well as by means of the solution obtained when it dissolves in water.

Conveniently, a tablet as above described, according to the invention, comprises:

-means to fulfil an antibacterial action, with synthesis active constituents and/or natural active constituents, in particular with dichlorine-s-triazinetrione (or sodium isocyanide dichlorine); -filling means, with anhydrous sulphate sodium and sodium bicarbonate; -adipose or citric acid; -a fragrant essence.

Conveniently, the tablet combines synthesis active constituents with natural active constituents that carry out an antibacterial action.

Conveniently, the synthesis active constituents may also be composed by trichlorine-s-triazinetrione (or sodium isocyanide trichlorine).

Conveniently, the synthesis active constituents may be replaced or combined with natural constituents such as dry extract of propoles, red Echinacea, calendula, tea tree oil, thyme oil, clove oil, bergamot oil, or the like.

Conveniently, as filling substances, the tablet includes gum- arabic, starch, or carboxyl methyl cellulose.

Conveniently, the tablet comprises a fragrant essence such as powdered menthol, lavender essence, pine tree essence, eucalyptus essence, citrus fruit essence, or others.

Conveniently, the tablet, laid on the base of a closed container, fulfils a disinfecting and scenting action, since the drops of water that fall on it and/or the moisture on the

bottom of the container, permit the sublimation of disinfecting vapours that act on the object inserted over the same tablet inside the container.

Conveniently, the gaseous substances released after the drops of water on the tablet, hit the bristles of toothbrushes, toilet brushes or brushes of other kind, or however the surface of any other object inserted into the container, eliminating germs and bacteria.

Conveniently, the tablet fulfils its effect by means of irregular microeffervescence, formed at any one time by the drops of water, which causes the tablet last very long, i. e. about one month; on the contrary, if it dissolves in water, it will be limited to an immediate short use.

Conveniently, the tablet can be used in a more conventional way, by effervescence, even dissolved in water, especially as disinfectant for rooms, in place of traditional detergents, so that the liquid solution obtained is used to clean surfaces, tiles or other objects, thus reducing considerably the environmental impact, since it doesn't need large plastic containers or similar.

In practice, the manufacturing details may, however, vary as regards shape, size, position of elements, and type of materials used, but still remain within the range of the idea proposed as a solution and, consequently, within the limits of the protection granted by this patent for invention.
