Abstract:

A period indicator composed of a base having a liquid permeability and an indicating part having a liquid permeability, formed partly on the base, and made of a material with a low refractivity to light. The period indicator contains a volatile liquid. The period indicator is characterized in that the indicating part is formed by coating the base surface with an indicating-part forming material of a mixture of a powder exhibiting a low refractivity to light and a binder, the indicating part is composed of two or more regions, and the regions have different heights from the base surface because the amount of coating of the indicating-part forming material per unit area is different. Since the period indicator can indicate the chemical-containing state stepwise, it is useful for indicating the available period of a chemical such as a mothproofing agent, an insecticide, an odor-eliminating agent, or a fragrance agent.
