Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a periodontal instrument polishing device that can safely, easily, and accurately polish periodontal instruments such as curettes and scalers without requiring much skill. [Solution] A polishing sheet is formed by fixing a disk to a rotary shaft connected to a motor inside a main body and detachably attaching water-resistant sandpaper to the upper surface of the rotating disk via an adhesive double-sided tape. While a water supply device and a blade angle guide are used together, a blade surface of a periodontal instrument is applied to and slid on, at an appropriate angle and under an appropriate pressure, a stable polishing surface formed by rotating the polishing sheet, thereby achieving safe, easy, and accurate polishing.
