Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of computers. Provided are a peripheral component interconnect express (PCIE) device startup method and apparatus, and a storage medium. In the present method, authentication of firmware of a PCIE device is performed by means of a BIOS so as to determine whether the firmware of the PCIE device has been tampered with. Since a PCIE device can only be started up by the BIOS when firmware thereof passes authentication, such arrangement prevents a computer device from starting up a PCIE device whose firmware has been tampered with, thereby reducing the security risk from the PCIE device with respect to the computer device.
