Abstract:
A peripheral video generating device (1) is provided with: a video input unit (10) for inputting peripheral video data captured using a plurality of cameras (20); a video combining unit (12) for combining the peripheral video data to generate a combined video viewed from a prescribed viewpoint; a three-dimensional shape estimating unit (13) for estimating the three-dimensional shape of an object in the periphery, on the basis of the peripheral video data; a shielded region estimating unit (14) for using the estimated result of the three-dimensional shape to estimate a shielded region of the combined video that cannot be seen from the prescribed viewpoint; an inferring unit (15) for inferring a video of the shielded region using deep learning; and a video superimposing unit (16) for superimposing the video inferred by the inferring unit (15) onto the shielded region of the combined video.
