Abstract:
This periphery monitoring device is provided with: an acquisition unit which acquires a three-dimensional model image representing the unevenness of a road surface and including captured image data output from an image-capturing unit which captures a peripheral image including the road surface in a traveling direction of a vehicle, and height data representing the height by region of the road surface represented on the peripheral image; and a control unit which superposes regions included in the acquired three-dimensional model image with an index representing a road surface height based on the height data, and displays the superposed result on a display device.
