Abstract:
The periphery-monitoring system (10) for a work vehicle is a system for monitoring the periphery of a work vehicle, which comprises a vessel for loading cargo, and comprises: radar devices (21-28) that are installed on the work vehicle and are for detecting an object, which is present behind the work vehicle; and a controller (100) for sounding an alarm on the basis of the detection results of the radar devices (21-28) and for switching, in accordance with the state of the work vehicle, between a reporting mode in which sounding of an alarm is possible and a standby mode in which sounding of alarms is stopped. In a work vehicle having a vessel for loading cargo as well as a periphery-monitoring system, said configuration is able to reduce effects, which arise from the vessel being raised, on the periphery-monitoring system.
