Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-performance permanent current switch provided with a superconducting coil for which a decrease in a critical current and a critical magnetic field is suppressed. The means for achieving this purpose is as follows. In the present invention, a permanent current switch includes a switch unit provided with a superconducting coil. A superconducting coil 5 includes a winding part 53 comprising a superconducting body thin film formed on the outer peripheral surface of a substrate 50. The winding part 53 includes a first winding part 51 and a second winding part 52 which are parallel to each other and are formed in a double spiral shape. An end portion 51b of the first winding part 51 and an end portion 52a of the second winding part 52 are adjacent to each other and are connected.
