Abstract:
This permanent current switch is provided with: a superconducting wire including a substrate and a superconducting layer arranged on the substrate; and a heater. The superconducting wire has a surface including a first part and a second part arranged apart from each other along the lengthwise direction of the superconducting wire. The first part and the second part face each other. The heater is sandwiched between the first part and the second part.
