Abstract:
A permanent magnet is formed by twisting a bar magnet, the magnetizing direction of which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the bar element, by 30−180° at the center in the longitudinal direction, and by making one end part of the bar element thinner than the other end part. The use of this permanent magnet as a fixed side magnet (111) of a rotation driver prevents rotary side magnets (121, 131) from being affected by the pole of the fixed side magnet (111) when moving in the longitudinal direction of the fixed side magnet (111). Therefore, the balance between the attractive and repulsive forces of the fixed side magnet (111) and the propulsion in the rotational direction of the rotary side magnets (121, 131) is made adequate to substantially eliminate the cut−off region of rotation drive. Making one end part of the bar element thinner than the other end enables the balance among the attractive force of the bar element at the end part which the rotary side magnet approaches, the repulsive force in the end part where the rotary side magnet leaves, and the propulsion of the rotary side magnet in the rotational direction.
