Abstract:
A permanent magnet motor is provided with: an armature; a rotor; and an angle detector. The angle detector is provided with: a sensor magnet; and a semiconductor sensor. The sensor magnet is bipolarly magnetized, is disposed on an end portion of a rotating shaft, and has the same rotation center as the rotating shaft. The semiconductor sensor opposes the sensor magnet in a direction in which the rotating shaft extends. A gap is provided between the semiconductor sensor and the sensor magnet. A plate member of a magnetic body is arranged between the semiconductor sensor and an end portion on the semiconductor sensor side of an armature iron core.
