Title:
PERMANENT MAGNET ROTATING DEVICE HAVING MINIMIZED COGGING TORQUE, PERMANENT MAGNET GENERATOR USING SAME, AND PERMANENT MAGNET MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/123013
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a permanent magnet rotating device having minimized cogging torque, a permanent magnet generator using the same, and a motor. More particularly, the purpose of the present invention is to minimize the cogging torque of a permanent magnet rotating device comprising a stator and a rotor that are used for a motor, a generator, or the like, simply by means of a combination of the number of poles and slots and an appropriate arrangement of permanent magnets, without employing various conventional cost-increasing methods for reducing the cogging torque. The present invention is advantageous in that the combination of the number of poles and the number of slots, the width of the lower ends of teeth of the slots, and the distance of spacing between permanent magnets are made equal, and the cogging torque is minimized when an appropriate winding method and an appropriate pitch are applied.
