Title:
PERMANENT MAGNET TYPE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/174572
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A permanent magnet type motor with reduced torque ripple, wherein torque ripples due to the sixth-order and twelfth-order electrical angle components are both reduced with a small skew angle, is provided. This permanent magnet type motor is configured so as to be driven with the phases of currents that flow in two sets of three-phase armature windings (26-1, 2) being offset from each other by an electrical angle of 20° to 40°, a rotor (11) is composed of m-stages of rotor components that are arranged in an axial direction, the m-stages of rotor components are respectively constructed into a skewed stage structure, and the skew angle (ϴ) (unit: degree) between adjoining units satisfies 26/m≤ϴ≤43.2/m (m is an integer equal to or greater than 2) in terms of electrical angle.
