Abstract:
Provided are a permanent magnet type rotating electric machine and a method for manufacturing same, which allow a plurality of plate materials forming a rotor core to be stacked so that the plate materials have a uniform thickness even when an oxide film is present on the surface of a non-magnetic section of each of the plurality of plate materials. A rotor core (21) in the permanent magnet type rotating electric machine (1) is formed by stacking a plurality of plate materials (21A), (21B), (21C), and (21D), and is provided with one or more center bridges (26) that are each formed between adjacent magnetic slots (23) per magnetic pole and that each connect an outer peripheral part (24) and a core part (25). A non-magnetic section (30) is formed partially or entirely on each of the one or more center bridges (26), and an insulating film (32) is provided on the surface of a portion other than a region that forms the respective non-magnetic sections (30) of the plurality of plate materials (21A), (21B), (21C), and (21D) forming the rotor core (21).
