Title:
PERMANENTLY EXCITED SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE COMPRISING A ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/101083
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a permanently excited synchronous machine comprising a stator that has a winding system arranged in grooves of a laminated core of the stator, said grooves being oriented towards an air gap between the stator and a rotor (1). The rotor (1) comprises permanent magnets (4) forming an even number of poles (2), each pole (2) comprising at least three permanent magnets (4) in the peripheral direction, the radial height (5) and the remanence of the permanent magnets (4) decreasing from the centre (9) of a pole (2) to the ends (3) of the respective pole (2) in the peripheral direction, and the coercive field strength of the permanent magnets (4) increasing from the centre (9) of the pole (2) to the ends (3) of the pole (2).
