Title:
PERMEABLE FILM FOR SEPARATING HYDROGEN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/045751
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A permeable film for separating hydrogen comprising an amorphous Ni-Zr type (Zr-Ni type) alloy which contains 44 to 75 atomic % of Ni or Zr, contains 0.2 to 16 atomic % of Al or 0.2 to 12 atomic % of one or two of N and Nb or 0.2 to 12 % of Nb and 0.1 to 10 % of P, provided that the sum of Nb and P is 18 % or less, and contains the balanced amount of Zr or Ni and inevitable impurities. The permeable film has excellent amorph stability at a high temperature, exhibits a long life in a high temperature operation, and allows the miniaturization of a hydrogen high purity purification apparatus, when used therein.
