Disclosed in the present application are a permission optimization method and a related device. An electronic device may determine, on the basis of a permission access record of an application program, whether there is a privacy risk, and if so, the electronic device may prompt and guide a user to perform permission optimization, thereby reducing the risk of user privacy leaks, and improving the user experience.
