Abstract:
A person detecting system (1A) comprises an acquiring unit (11) and a processing unit (12). The acquiring unit (11) acquires a radio wave intensity of radio waves that are emitted by each of a plurality of transmitters (3) and are received by an antenna (21). The processing unit (12) executes detection processing to detect the approach of a person to the antenna (21) on the basis of the radio wave intensities acquired by the acquiring unit (11). Each of the plurality of transmitters (3) is classified into any one of a plurality of groups in accordance with a position thereof relative to the antenna (21). The processing unit (12) detects that a person is approaching the antenna (21) if, in the detection processing, the radio wave intensities acquired by the acquiring unit (11) deviate from a steady-state range for two or more transmitters (3) classified into the same group, among the plurality of transmitters (3).
