Abstract:
A personal digital assistant including a hinge unit having such a structure that can perform both manual rotary operation and electrical rotary operation of a display section. The personal digital assistant comprises a drive section generating first rotary power, a first gear for receiving the first rotary power and transmitting it in a part of a movable range, a second gear for receiving the first rotary power by meshing with the first gear, and a display section rotatable about the central axis by receiving the first rotary power from the second gear.
