Abstract:
Provided is a pest control product which can be applied to an aqueous pesticide composition and which can constantly exhibit stable capability for a long time. The pest control product is provided with a liquid-absorbing wick for heating transpiration for transpiring the aqueous pesticide composition including a pyrethroid-based pesticide component having a vapor pressure of 2×10-4-1×10-2 mmHg at 30ºC, a glycol-based compound and/or a glycol ether-based compound having a boiling point of 150-300ºC, and water, wherein a pesticide component/compound concentration ratio (P1/P2) in the liquid-absorbing wick for heating transpiration is within a range of 1.2-6.0, the pesticide component/compound concentration ratio (P1/P2) being obtained from: a weight ratio (P1) of the pyrethroid-based pesticide component included in the liquid-absorbing wick for heating transpiration after usage with respect to the glycol ether-based compound and/or the glycol-based compound included in the liquid-absorbing wick for heating transpiration after usage; and a weight ratio (P2) of the pyrethroid-based pesticide component included in the aqueous pesticide composition before usage with respect to the glycol ether-based compound and/or the glycol-based compound included in the aqueous pesticide composition before usage.
