Abstract:
A pet-activated signaling device (10) to allow a pet to signal a human includes a base (12), and a cover (14), associated with the base. A biasing element (16) is operatively coupled between the base and the cover and is configured to provide a positive biasing force therebetween. At least one audio signaling system (18) is associated with the base and the cover and is activatable in response to relative movement of the cover with respect to the base. At least one visual signaling system (19) is associated with the base and the cover and is activatable in response to relative movement of the cover with respect to the base.
