Abstract:
Provided is pet food production method having a step in which a dough that is mixed with an expansion agent, a preservative, and a pH regulator, is heated and foamed, and food grains are produced, said food grains containing an animal-derived raw material and having a crude protein content of 10-35 mass%, a moisture content of 20-35 mass%, and a pH not exceeding 6.5.
