A pet food that includes: imitation meat pieces including animal protein raw material and plant protein raw material; and meat flakes. The pet food has a water content of at least 50% by mass, a plant protein content of at least 4% by mass in terms of dry material, and a methionine content of 0.62%-1.5% by mass in terms of dry material.
