Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pet treadmill comprising: a main frame; a belt coupled to the main frame in a lengthwise direction; a motor for rotating the belt; a housing in which the motor is located; a location identifying means for identifying the location of a pet moving on the belt; an exercise amount measuring unit for measuring the exercise amount obtained from the pet exercising on the belt; a snack storing container provided so as to store a snack to be fed to the pet; a snack draw-out means provided so as to draw out the snack stored in the snack storing container; and a control unit provided so as to adjust the rotation speed of the motor according to predetermined criteria when the pet is sensed as being located on the belt by the location identifying means, and so as to operate the snack draw-out means such that the snack stored in the snack storing container is drawn out when the exercise amount measured by the exercise amount measuring unit satisfies the predetermined criteria.
