Abstract:
A power factor correction (PFC) circuit and a power supply device, the PFC circuit comprising: a power input terminal (Vin), a plurality of rectifying and filtering modules (10, 10A, 10B), step-up modules (20, 20A, 20B) which are provided in correspondence with the number of rectifying and filtering modules, a PFC controller (30), and a power output terminal (Vout); input terminals of the plurality of rectifying and filtering modules are connected to the power input terminal, respectively, and output terminals of the plurality of rectifying and filtering modules are connected in one-to-one correspondence to input terminals of a plurality of step-up modules; output terminals of the plurality of step-up modules are connected to the power output terminal, respectively, and a controlled terminal of each step-up module is connected to a control terminal of the PFC controller. The PFC circuit and the power supply device prevent the problem wherein, due to the size, heavy weight and high costs of bridge rectifiers and adapted heat sinks, the same are not suitable for application in light power supply devices and electronic apparatuses.
