Abstract:
The present invention provides a pharmaceutical agent capable of effectively suppressing damage caused by pests, by creating a crop condition in which a natural enemy of the pest can easily colonize the crop, thereby providing a continued pest control effect produced by the natural enemy. The present invention also provides a method for treating the crops on which the natural enemy can easily colonize. A pharmaceutical agent according to the present invention is used when causing a natural enemy of a pest to colonize a plant body, and includes a jasmonic acid compound. A method for producing a plant body according to the present invention includes a step (A) for allowing a pharmaceutical agent containing a jasmonic acid compound to act on a plant body, and a step (B) for releasing predatory Phytoseiidae.
