Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for cancer treatment comprising tubulosine as an active ingredient. In the composition of the present invention, tubulosine inhibits the catalytic activity of a JAK in leukemia and lymphoma cell lines, thereby entirely and strongly inhibits structurally activated cytokine-induced JAK3 signaling, and thus can be usefully employed as a preparation for inhibiting the survival and proliferation of active JAK-mediated cancer cells.
