Abstract:
Provided is a solid pharmaceutical composition for oral administration containing (A) 2-[4-[2-(benzimidazol-2-ylthio)ethyl]piperazin-1-yl]-N-[2,4-bis(methylthio)-6-methyl-3-pyridyl]acetamide (compound (a)) or an acid addition salt thereof and (B) citric acid. The result is improved dissolution of compound (a), which is useful as a therapeutic agent for hypercholesterolemia and arteriosclerosis, etc.
