Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition of a Platycodon grandiflorum extract including Platycodin D which is for preventing or treating skin diseases, a skin external preparation, and a cosmetic and health functional food for improving or relieving skin diseases, more specifically, the present invention can be used for the purpose of preventing, treating or improving various skin diseases since degranulation of mastocytes can be suppressed, and there are confirmed effects of alleviating an itching symptom particularly in an animal model with an allergy and for inflammation, edema, skin moisturization and skin firming.
