Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating bone diseases and a food composition for alleviating or mitigating bone diseases, the compositions enabling side effects of treatment to be remarkably reduced by using one or more natural extracts selected from the group consisting of a plant extract from the order Rosales, a plant extract from the genus Cornus, a plant extract from the genus Boehmeria, and a plant extract from the genus Carpinus. When the compositions are used, differentiation into osteoclasts is effectively inhibited, thereby enabling the effective prevention or treatment of bone diseases.
