Abstract:
The present application relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for preventing and treating colon cancer, containing an extract of Telectadium dongnaiense as an active ingredient. The extract targets the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, thereby being usable as a treatment for cancer caused by an abnormality of the Wnt signaling pathway or as an anti-cancer adjuvant.
