Title:
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING INFLAMMATORY DISEASES, CONTAINING INOSITOL POLYPHOSPHATE MULTIKINASE INHIBITOR AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/128429
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases, containing an inositol polyphosphate multikinase inhibitor as an active ingredient. Specifically, IPMK-depleted mice have a higher survival rate for sepsis than wild-type mice, and an increase in mRNA and protein expression of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α within tissue is inhibited when endotoxemia is induced, and thus the composition containing an IPMK inhibitor can be useful for treating inflammatory diseases.
