Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases comprising a compound of chemical formula 1, and to a cosmetic composition comprising the compound. By comprising the compound of chemical formula 1, the present invention can protect cells and reduce inflammation by removing reactive oxygen species and suppressing inflammatory cytokines in a non-toxic manner.
